These summery and delicious Strawberries and Cream Sorbet Mimosas are so much fun. They’re easy to make, with homemade sorbet, and are perfect for brunch, a bridal shower, or a girly night! Pop open the champagne and get to sippin’!
These Strawberries and Cream Sorbet Mimosas are a little taste of summer, and that’s exactly what we need in the UK right now! It’s the end of July, but it feels more like October – lately it’s been nothing but rainy and grey. At least it’s not been too cold I guess. I think summer might be over for us, but who knows whats August will bring. But, for now, we can at least enjoy some summery drinks! I was inspired to make these Strawberries and Cream Sorbet Mimosas by these amazing Rosé Raspberry Sorbet Mimosas from Fox and Briar – make sure you check them out!
These Strawberry and Thyme Slushie Cocktails are not only gorgeous, they’re totally delicious too. Sweet strawberries are muddled with aromatic thyme and white rum, add some crushed strawberry ice and soda water and you have the perfect Valentine’s Day cocktail to share with your sweetheart. It’s so easy to make, with a little help from your Vitamix!
Love is taking over Giraffes Can Bake at the moment, and I am a-okay with that! Valentine’s Day seems to be a bit of a marmite holiday, and I am one of the lovers! Sure, you could say it’s a commercial holiday exploited by Hallmark and chocolate companies but it’s also about love, and what’s wrong with that? A day to celebrate love, in all forms, is a day I’m a fan of. You don’t need to buy into the commercial side of it to celebrate love. And in this often scary and sad world, I think we all need a day where we take that extra step to tell the people we care about that we love them and wouldn’t be about them. So yes, I am firmly in the pro-Valentine’s Day camp.

And these amazing Peaches ‘n’ Cream Margarita Popsicles can be enjoyed all summer, hell, all year! They’re really easy to make with just a few ingredients, pop them in the freezer today and they’ll be ready to enjoy tomorrow!

Ah, another week and what d’ya know? I’m running behind again! With how often I run behind I might as well call it on schedule! I usually write my Friday post on Thursday and, well, it got to Thursday night and I hadn’t even started editing the photos for the post, oops! And now it’s Monday – still, better late than never, right?
A summery twist on the classic frozen margarita with a black pepper kick – the perfect drink to enjoy all summer long! So easy to make too, all you need is a blender!
Happy Friday guys! It’s the weekend, yay, party time! I’ve been a bit absent this last week, I apologise for that – life got in the way a bit, as it tends to do. But I’m making it up to you by bringing alcohol. And not just any alcohol, alcohol in the form of a Strawberry and Black Pepper Frozen Margarita – am I forgiven? I’m going to take that drooling as a yes 😉
